The project continues to quietly wind down. We are in the process of doing another complete circuit right around the out skirts of the Uda Walawe National Park and distribute as much as possible our “Find Raja” hot-line telephone card to villagers.
Although hope is receding, with no calls being received last week about any probable sightings, there is still the remote chance that someone may call in, even at a later date with come good news which can then be followed up.
Until this we can only hope for the best… and at least we tried.
A full account of the entire project will be forthcoming in an issue of the Sunday Times after the festive season.
Thank you everyone for your support.
